About
Twelve years of sitting with people, mid-difficulty.
I trained as an integrative psychotherapist because no single school of thought has the whole picture of a person. Some weeks we'll trace where a feeling began; other weeks we'll work on something practical you can use before the next session.
Before opening my private practice I spent four years in NHS Talking Therapies, mostly with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, and two years with a bereavement charity in north London. That work shaped how I understand pressure: most people arrive not because something dramatic happened, but because coping has quietly stopped working.
People often tell me they were nervous about the first session and surprised by how ordinary it felt. That's deliberate. There's no couch, no note-taking during our time, and no expectation that you arrive with the right words.
